The Doughnut
Scientific name - Doto Greenamyeri
AKA The Doughnut
The Doughnut can grow up to a length of 15mm, about the size of your fingernail. It can be found circling the waters of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. The body of this Nudibranch is translucent white, which makes it appear to glow with a warmth from its core. Its distinctive series of raised striped rings makes this fascinating creature look like a tiny swimming paper lantern.
