It was an honour to be asked to design part of the 5k race route with Hackney Arts and Lucie Hands for Nike, Track Mafia and Virgin Sport. Taking inspiration from Hackney's nature, culture and history, we hoped to brighten up the route for the 3,000 runners taking part with some colour at their feet.
